Kinesiology is an alternative and holistic therapy. It is the scientific study of human body movement, it addresses physiological, psychological and biochemical dynamics and mechanism of movement according to Wikipedia. It is the study of how muscles coordinate and act in the body. When a trauma, injury or stress occurs the energy flow in the body is interrupted and the whole body is affected.
Kinesiology means the study of motion. Founded on Eastern medicine and started in the 1960s by an American Chiropractor who developed a system of evaluating body functions by testing different muscles. He found that each muscle was related to an energy circuit and each circuit was connected to an organ. Practitioners undertake years of training to be able to access the movement of energy, or what the Chinese call Chi – around the body and brain.
